The whole experience of this Road to the Bite competition was amazing. Having the chance to play with so many talented musicians and songwriters was truly an honor and I felt fortunate just to participate. Making it into the semifinals was a thrill. Playing at the final competition at the Bite of Oregon and being named Oregon's Best Singer/Songwriter of 2008 was just surreal. I wanted to say thank you to all of the songwriters that I have gotten to know in this process. Meeting all of you is truly one of the finest rewards of this contest. Thank you to Dan Lowe and all of the members of PSA that work to make these things happen. Thank you to the mentors who judged each month's competition and gave us valuable feedback. Thank you to all of you friends and family who came out to support at the Bite of Oregon in Portland. It was very cool to be able to share that day with all of you. Most importantly thank you God for providing for my every need in life so I have the opportunity to create music to share with others. Thank you everyone for your support to help my dreams become one step closer to reality.
