I suppose finishing a record is the closest thing i will be able to compare a childbirth experience with. Ive never bore  a human, tho im sure ive BORED SOME....but yeah, its gotta be alot like it. The pleasure of writing the music and making it into a song( sex), the overindulgence of spending HUGE amounts of money in the studio( birthing classes, the nursury, all those locks you put on your cabnets), all of the artwork( babys first picture).and then holding your breath while watching what came out of the whole thing. Cept records dont talk back, or ask for car keys, or get arrested.and have to call you at 3 am. They just sort of sit there. Looking at you, wanting you to DO SOMETHING with it.Right? I sure hope your doing something with it, are you listening to it? Singing along with it? Wondering what it means? Or if your hearing it right? Do you HAVE IT?
