It's that time of year again, when I travel way up above the Arctic circle to Devon Island, the largest uninhabited desert island in the world, with the Haughton-Mars Project. Being an Arizonian, it sure feels cold up here!
I'm the Education and Public Outreach Officer for the Mars Institute, and my job is to report on the scientists' research with photos, videos and updates.
If you're excited about humans going back to the Moon to set up permanent research bases or human missions to Mars, then you should really check out the research going on up here. There are a zillion things that we need to figure out before we can do any of that successfully.
To Mars!
