This week has been a very good one ... for the village at any rate !
Doel 2020 (the group fighting the demolishing of the village) have won a court case to stop the levelling of the houses that was to go ahead later this year. About a third of the houses were to be knocked down because the government says they are uninhabitable. I'll translate the newspaper article one day and post the whole thing.
It's a small step, but it's definitely in the right direction, and we keep on hoping.
And fighting !
