Allegedly, Steve Lamacq gave Molloy's download LP "Album of the Week" on Radio 1.
Also, dance magazine "One Week To Live" gave Tracy "7 out of 7" and it's not even a dance track! Or maybe it is? See you in Ibiza?
Here's what they said:
"Molloy. Have you heard of them? No? Well they're like the Dandi Wind but with better equipment. And poppier. This one of their 7" killer tracks that, one hopes, will break through the postcode conservatism on Merok. These kids could be the biggest anti-hipster band to appear from the ether. Really. Tracy is a killer little pop nugget with beats that remind one of the early Peaches, 'Lovertits' perhaps, spliced with the infectiously rolling B52's -esque rhythm section and a chrous/hook line, that, if given the appropriate radio play, would be hummed on buses, railways, street corners, cars and any other place people congregate. If this is anything to go by, their album "This is Fucking Brilliant" dropping in a couple of weeks will be more sought after than the holy grail. Hot Hot Hot." 7/7
