Our drummer and great friend John Cayer has decided to leave Interstate in order to focus on other on other things. Being in a band can be hard work and also very time consuming. John has numerous things that require hard work and also a lot of his time, to shoulder all of those things and at the same time stay fully committed to a band at this time he feels is simply too much.

We wish John the best of luck with everything and we know he will do great things. John is one of our closest friends and always will be and in no way is there any bad vibes between any of us.

John we had some killer times together-good shows, and some that sucked but we laugh about now-van shopping-lugging road cases-watching you be mugged by a real monkey in broad daylight(that really happend)-tracking down $10 guitars-learning what it means to superman-disgusting chinese buffets-the encounter with "the destroyer"-our pact-and so much more...we wish you the best brosif.

As for the rest of us, we will continue to rock out! a new record is in the making and we are booking new shows now.
