Here's how we stand:

Wills Point - 6 / 3
Nevada  - 5 / 4
Emory - 4 / 5
Commerce - 2 / 7
Quinlan - 4 / 5

Sorry that I haven't updated recently...I'm sure you all have been on pins and needles wondering how the season was going...Clay and I are just so totally into
this Wills Point Football!!  We always loved watching any sport the boys ever participated in, but there's something about experiencing High School Football at the Varsity level. I am just tingling with excitement and anticipation that just explodes when the "Friday Night Lights" come into view.  Spencer is doing really well (I'm not just saying that because I'm his Mommy, either)   Homecoming Game was when he was named both Offensive Player of the Week AND Athlete of the Week.
This coming Friday night we play Nevada Community at home for the last district game before the PLAY-OFFS start.  I don't have the Play-Off schedule yet, but I'll post it when available.
I want to thank all the family and friends that have been attending Spen's football games.  It really means a lot to me and I know a lot to Spen to have everyone's support.  This past week, we played Commerce in Commerce.  Spen-Fans in attendance were of course, Clay and myself, Daniel, Mr. Terry and Jimmy.  I've mentioned the ever-present Uber-Fan, Jane-Anne...well, she wasn't at the game and was missed for sure.  Apparently taking her place was "Hick-Drunk-Guy", Uber-Fan.  This guy hollered and yelped out incomprehensible "cheers" all night.  We thought at first he was just enthusiastic until I walked by him whilest I was headed to the potty and got a whiff of the stench of alocohol that was exuding from his every orafice and pore.  Jane-Anne, we missed you!
(Photo)This coming Saturday we are celebrating Spencer's 17th birthday.  We've rented a 15 passenger van and are off to play Whirlyball!  This will be our 3rd time doing this for his birthday, but everyone always has a blast.  Since all of his friends live in Wills Point and Whirlyball is in Plano, we have found it to be a lot more funnerer to throw everyone in a big van together, rather than have everyone in separate cars for the hour and a half drive.  Spen decided on a Superman theme for the party, so my "Lolivision" is working over-time on coming up with a Birthday cake for the occasion. We have rented  the Whirlyball court for 2 hours, it's going to be a blast!
Keep an eye on my Flickr account for updated photos.
Jimmy and Julie Hitt had an awesome Halloween Costume Party last weekend!  Clay and I went with a "Heroes" theme, he was Future Hiro and I was Claire the cheerleader.  Our costumes turned out pretty good.  At least people knew who I was.  They had hired a DJ, so there was plenty of "Honkey-Dancing", a margarita machine and plenty of good eats.  I brought a candy pizza and ghost cookies.  Loli had maybe 2 or 3 TOO MANY Jello shots and felt like pee-pee-kaka all day Sunday, swearing to never drink again...
On that note, I close.
Todd

As i told Clay, I am sorry to point out that Clay is not Japanese! :)
