Flaming Apes Head are a 3 piece alternative rock band from Liverpool playing a blend of up-beat funky punk and full on metal/grunge. With songs ranging from 90 second punk to 4 minute riff packed rock, and lyrics ranging from the poetic to the absurd, they offer an original and diverse set. you need to give them a look and go to thier gig on the 5th of august at the heaven and hell bar in liverpool.you will get a free 6 track promo cd...and if its ready their EP will be on sale hopefully with one of the designs im doing for them
Flaming Apes Head have been gigging regularly in Liverpool and Leeds ever since, have recently won "Band of the Month", and "Website of the Week" from bandsunsigned.co.uk, and are currently mid-way through recording their debut album. During their gigging they have been compared to The Pixies, Dead Kennedys, Devo, Sonic Youth and No Means No.
