Hi everyone!
I'm sorry it's been so long. I can't do the band full-time, but I like having a flexible schedule to make it work, so I work anywhere from three to five different jobs at a given time. Right now, it's CRAZY. The nice thing is, I like all the work I'm doing. The bad part is I don't have as much time to do band-related stuff.
However, I'm not sitting around! I've got a brand new E.P., which I'll get up for sale here pretty soon - it's 8 songs (5 life, 3 studio), and all of them are full electric, full-band versions of some MaHE favorites. More on that soon.
Also, I'll be having t-shirts available for sale online soon too!
I'm gearing up for Wrock the Boat, too, which is getting *really, really* close! Wild!
At the end of August, I got to head up to L.A. to play a show at Whimsic Alley. There are pictures and videos already out there, but I wanted to point out how awesome the show was. The Hermione Crookshanks Experience and the Switchblade Kittens were, as always, amazing. Wingardium Leviosa, my fellow San Diegans, wrocked hard on their second show of all time. But I was blown away by two specifically I'd never seen before. The first was the Ginny Potter Revelation, who I'll talk about more in another blog (her name is Chloe, she's 12, and when she opened her mouth I thought I was listening to Norah Jones).
And then there's
Tonks!, which must be pronounced with emphasis, because of the exclamation point.

These two girls are fantastic. They're really talented, they write great songs, and you really should go see them play. Seriously. Right now. Like get on a plan, go to their houses, and demand a show Right Now.
Okay, if not, at least go check out their amazing tunes, and make sure to put them on your "must-see" list for Azkatraz next summer!
So stay tuned for more updates - there's more than the E.P. and the shirts - and in the meantime, those of you who are going to WtB, remember you have a bunch of paperwork to fill out. And you'll need a passport. Ellie has everything you need, but you can just go to the Carnival website and enter in your confirmation code to fill it all out online. It's a lot of stuff, so don't put it off.
Today's is one of my favorites: there are four cars and eleven light posts on the back of a ten-dollar bill!
Wrock on!
