	m	You are the greatest most people don't quite understand domestic violence, most seem to blame the women, I really don't think that they seem to quite understand that it's not just the physical abuse, it's the emotional fear and misunderstandings of how these women assess the fear and the physical trauma, and the emotional distress that harm may come to them, their children. or other family members.  Sometimes they endure abuse just to protect someone else.  They fear for their lives as a result of leaving the abusive relationship.  Some feel that staying allows them to protect the others from harm, so they stay and inflict the cruelty of the abuser.  We need to educate ourselves to the mental state of the person being abused, instead of judging them for staying in these type of relationships. What we need is more training, education and acknowledgement,  domestic violence kills millions of women of all races, colors and economic status.  It doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor, violence is violence.  Help make a change and save a life.....Thanks Mary if you save 10 lives today through you efforts it worth more than money can ever buy.   When you see a victim of violence, comfort them, show love and compassion to them and most of all don't judge them...Domestic Violence is real.   Posted by m on Saturday, October 31, 2009 - 1:53 AM [Reply to this]
