right before heading off to Morocco I was asked to do this score, only with minimal time but I am always drawn to Beckett. Based off a short entitled "Ohio Impromtu" Photographer and professor Hans Gindlesburger designed/directed and shot this interpretive piece. Recorded at Vordoresque Studios by Paul, The production of the music and the composition was interesting for me, I would watch and get to know all the images with out the narrative (Jeremy Irons' voiceover then replaced by the local actor Tim Newell) then just learn the narrative. Steadily ideas began to come and I usually work better under pressure. As I came up with sketches and a basic form, I recorded Natalie and Kathleen at separate times in the process not really knowing how it would all come together in the end. So I ended up with about 20 minutes of material and started weaving the pieces. On the recording you will hear 5 violins 5 cellos Piano Jaymar Electric guitar Accordion Wurly Glockenspiel Bowed zils Enjoy and please feel free to comment and give feedback. Check out Hans' Website and you tube "Ohio Imromptu" with Jeremy Irons.
