It's true... Everything has gone weird.

That doesn't mean everything has gone bad, but just think about how much gaming has changed...

Perhaps, but let me travel back through time and tell my 10 year old self about games today...

Me:
Hello, i'm you from the future, and i'm here to tell you about video games.

10 year old me:
Really!? Is it all virtual reality yet?

Me:
No no, they decided that was crap, but this is what's happening...
*Ahem*...
Right now there are 3 different companies making games consoles,
Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft...

10 year old me:
Sony and Microsoft?

Me:
Oh, er, Sony used to make TV's and Hi-Fi's and Microsoft made loads of pc stuff.

10 year old me:
What about Sega?

Me:
No, they got killed off, they make games for other consoles now.

10 year old me:
WHAT!?! Even nintendo?

Me:
Yeah, even Nintendo.

It's pretty sweet though, I mean, you can play games against people
anywhere in the world now without any sort of wires connecting each player.

 Sonic and Mario still exist though...

Infact, they just made a game on the new Nintendo console with both Sonic and Mario starring in it...

It's basically Track and Field with Mario and Sonic characters...

Oh and the new Nintendo console uses full motion controlls,

Oh, and they called it "Wii".

10 year old me:
*Vomits, chokes on vomit, dies*

Now as you can see this would create a time paradox, and there for I can never ever travel back through time becuase i will end my own existence.
But how could I end my existence if i never got old enough to travel through time as the news of todays video games killed me when i was 10... ah it's too complex and weird...

It could be worse. I could go back to 2001 and tell my past self right at the end of shenmue II:
"They never actually make the third one..."

I think my past self would kill the me, then kill it's self...

Urgh, i hate time paradoxes.

But theres your proof.

Todays video game industy is all kinds of strange.

I want the old days back, With the MegaDrive and the Snes, and fan pics of Sonic ripping Mario's head off and vica-versa...

Infact, if anyone wants to draw some of those and post them onto our myspace, they will get my personal thumbs up.
