Burton Cummings, legendary singer/songwriter, touches our hearts and souls in so many ways. Here he does what he has done for over four decades. What a remarkable person. Bless your heart Burton...you do it so right.

I have always found this tune soothing. This is a nice rendition. Thanks.

Yes Jim, and it always leaves me with a lump in my throat. Burton's rendition here being no exception. I have been to three of his concerts over the past year and he never fails to amaze us with his diversity and the depth of his conviction to his music...and his faithful fans.

I loved watching him sing this song.  Did you see the video that Kevin posted on youtube?  He was up closer.

Thank you Marilyn. Yes I did see the video. I had been away on vacation for the River Rock Casino show and if I'd known about it we surely would have been there. Hugs.

Bless your heart for being here Kristine. Burton Cummings holds a special place in my heart for all he has done over the years for the music industry and his adoring fans worldwide. There is a personal side to this man that is very endearing. He is Canadian and for that, yes, he is even more special to me. He also has a home out here on the coast not far from us. His new CD 'Above The Ground' is a wonderful new release that everyone should watch out for...soon to be released in the US. He plans to tour there as well and his shows are second to none...a remarkably talented man.

Hi Kristine. 'Above The Ground' is a marvelous compilation, really a true Burton Cummings sound. He quit smoking last December and his vocal range and acuity has returned...sounds better than ever. If you haven't already done so you MUST go to see him in concert. He is touring with The Carpet Frogs, a group of musicians individually acclaimed worldwide and they really sound terrific together. If you were a Guess Who fan or more recently of Burton in his solo days go see him. He will likely also have Randy Bachman tour with him through the US as he did here in Canada. The two of them together along with the Frogs is a priceless and magical thing to see. After over four decades they still know how to leave an audience speechless.

Thank you Eileen. I have loved his music for some thirty-five of his over forty year career. His voice and words touch me deeply.

Audrey, thank you so much for being here. Sorry to here of your PC troubles. This is a solo on Burton's keyboard to end a show so it's simple yet the words and sound of this score is beautiful and evokes emotional response. I have a couple of great videos of his on my profile page too. Have seen Burton three times at his concerts here over the past year...outstanding. He should be touring the US in '10 to promote his new cd 'Above The Ground'...see him if at all possible.
