Hello everybody! We hope you all had a great holiday season.
We're excited about the new year for a number of reasons. First off, our first live show of the year is this Wednesday at The Mercury in Seattle. We're going to be performing with 3 other ambient experimental bands, Rust $ Stardust, The Sound of Anne Grables, and ImpactTestDummy. Besides the music, there will be a some visual components to the performances, including video projections of abstract psychedelic art by Portland artist Lanny Quarles and others. The Mercury is a private club, but we're allowed to put anyone on the list as our guest, so you don't have to be a member to attend the show. They do allow cigarette smoking, but hopefully the areas near the stage won't be too smoky. The cover is $3 and the show starts at 9:00 pm.
We're also excited to announce our upcoming debut CD release with the great folks at Lens Records in Chicago. Home to releases by such excellent electronic artists as Rapoon, Beehatch, The Division, Robert Scott Thompson and others, we're excited to be working with a label that has been putting out such great music. We're currently getting all the music put together and working out the details for a summer release. We'll have more specific details as we get closer to the date.
Here's to an exciting 2009! Thanks for all your support!
Chris and Adam
