Yesterday jody watley released what could be deemed her 1st single from "The Makeover".A really stark but sublime cover of madonnas borderline..Miss watley takes this song in a new direction.while simultaneously staying true to the keyboard progressions of the original.Madonnas version while a classic makes you forget about the heartbroken lyrics..Watleys version puts to heart those lyrics youve missed out on before and allows you to feel the heartbreak of the song...I encourage all of you young and old to stop by Itunes make that purchase and check it out!...Lending my support to a woman whose talent is often missed out on because of the mainstream media circus

Kudos Miss watley

Let me be the first to say thank you for taking the time to recommend 'Borderline'! To cover a song, I feel one should at least shine new light, give a new perspective or a present a contemporary look at a song.
I feel a good lyric and melody can take many forms in any era!
Thank you for your comments... you're a true music soul!
