As if my activity here wasn't sparse enough already, I am turning my back on Myspace for the foreseeable future.
I have too many profiles, projects and other stuff to tend to and Myspace, quite frankly is nowhere near the top of the list of priorities.
I'm not giving up my music, far from it. I'm just not going to be around here much if at all for a while, maybe for good.
If you do come by here and you like what you see/hear then please take the time to connect with me on Twitter, Youtube & my Facebook page. There is much more chance of you actually being able to have a conversation that way if you like the idea of that.
http://www.twitter.com/boyathearthttp://www.youtube.com/theboyathearthttp://www.facebook.com/pages/Boy-Heart/35500373960I think Myspace is having trouble staying in the 21st Century personally and although I could be wrong I have never put in the time required (I'm not prepared to) to make Myspace work for me the way I would feel would make it worth it.
Myspace was a good idea for bands & artists when used as a way to show a record company how commercially viable you could be, but with that left for dead, then there is not much point in Myspace compared to the interactivity of some of the other social networks.
Myspace just isn't fun or fulfilling for me, so I am laying it to rest. I'm not worried about upsetting anyone who reads this, seeing as hardly anyone visits here and that kind of proves my point about Myspace. It may have been a great way for Tila Tequila to become popular, but those days are gone.
Feel free to follw me elsewhere if you want to. This page will stay where it is. I just won't be checking very often, if at all. Good luck to those who put their faith in Myspace, maybe it just doesn't suit me!
