To all those people "celebrating valentines day",

Whilst you've been fretting over the perfect gift to show your sweetheart you love them, ive been playing Nintendo, pumping up MY music loud and just kicking back, not worrying, doing my OWN thing. Instead of fretting over what time I should send a big fuckin' bunch of flowers to my sweethearts work, just so he/she can show them off in front of their coleauges, ive been looking up skating accidents on YouTube. Instead of stuffing myself with Cadbury based products just to please my sweetheart, ive been napping.

I don't hafta worry about booking the restaurant, the hotel, lighting the red candles, the rose petals. Best of all, I have spent no money!

And people say they hate being single on Valentines Day....

being single is fine, as long as you don't fall into the trap of comparing your lovelife (or lack thereof) to that of your mates. it's not like i wallow in self pity if i can't find good drugs for a while, so why should it be any different for other forms of pleasure?

Heya Luke,

Even though I'm not single, I haven't really been celebrating Valentines that much either - I got breaky in bed but that's it (not complaining at all!). And I get to work tonight! HAHA. Are you working??
Guess what I got for Benjamin? A card and a Blue Power Rangers mask - That's a true Valentine's present, and all up it only cost me $7. Budget shopper here.

Just for the hell of it, I'm wishing you a Happy Valentines Day :o)

Valentine's day is overrated... I pretty much spent the whole day getting drunk, playing Guitar Hero and downloading 80s songs and I'm not even single. I did get Sam an awesome present though - a hamburger phone! I know you want one. And we went to see Jumper, none of this shmaltzy rom-com shit. Jumper kix azzzzzzzzzzzz! You have to see it.

oh man dont get me started on that fuckin valentines day shit. i hate it. i have been in relationships the past 2-3 years on valentines day but i still dont do shit for it. i spent all day bumbin round n gettin drunk. hahaha.
i dont see why couples need to all 'show their love' on one specific day. it should be spontaneous. i have a blog bout valentines day i wrote last year. the day is gay.
