Hey there brothers and sisters!
Dikta is now sweating in the studio
recording our third full-length album but we'll take a short break from
recording to play two concerts here in Iceland in the next 2 days.
Tomorrow, Friday May 22th, Dikta will be playing in Iða Sportscenter at Selfoss with Ourlives and more. The concert starts at 9 pm and cover charge is only 500 ISK.
Saturday May 23rd, Dikta is headlining a great concert at Sodoma Reykjavik. Supporting are the bands Ourlives, Foreign Monkeys and Cosmic Call. Cover charge is 1000 ISK and the house opens at 11 pm.
Since the next few weeks will be busybusybusy with arranging songs,
recording and Transcendental Meditation (TM), Dikta will not be playing
much in Iceland or abroad for the next weeks and even months. So please, if you're in Iceland, come on down to Sodoma Reykjavik on Saturday and bring your beautiful face with you.
Dikta's latest single, Let Go, has been
getting massive airtime on Icelandic radio the last few weeks. It's
been at the top of the charts at Iceland's biggest alternative radio
station, The X 97.7 for at least 5 consecutive weeks now. We thank you all for your support.
And lastly, we would like you to show us more support by voting for us :)
A vote for the 100 best albums in the history of Iceland is now in process at www.tonlist.is. The list has been cut down from thousands to a few hundred and now there are only the top 100 left.
You can vote for Dikta by going to http://www.tonlist.is/100bestu and clicking on the checkbox next to the albums. You can select from 1 to 20 albums.
Then just click the "Senda inn mín atkvæði" button at the bottom of the page.
Thanks for everything,
Dikta
