Thanks to everyone who came to the funeral Sunday and the wake for Steve at Mt. Tabor Theater last night. There was so many people and friends I haven't seen in years, it was a great tribute to Steve's memory. Thanks to Roby, Chris Newman &  Charlie Nimms for singing a few songs. Also, to Wendy and Jason Okamoto for singing at the service, which touched more than a few of us sitting there that sad day. I'll be posting some more photos and video clips in the near future. Thanks to everyone who posted to this site with kind words and memories of our friend, Steve Casmano.

It was a great night for a great guy. I think Steve also would have enjoyed Charlie Nimms little song too.

Thanks for keeping this site going and for all the updates --it means a lot to those of us who couldn't make it to the service or the wake. But we were there in spirit.

SSSSSSteve as Shana would say at a few of those 3:00am mornings after a night of music in Eugene with Jet Harris and the Road Rockets opening up for The Jackals. For those of you who remember Shana and I were the party hardy dancing Road Rocketts with Jet and so I first met The Jackals in 1988. The Jackals are still one of my favorite bands and Shana and I never missed a chance to party with them especially after Jet had passed out, we would definitly sneak away then...... I spent many years hanging out with the whole Rockabilly scence and I have so many great memories. As many of us have, I referred to Steve as Elvis Costello and remembered many a party night after Shana and I were spenttta and we would run up to Steve, who knew what was coming, and together at the top of are lungs call out, SSSSSSSSSSteve and he would get that BIG WONDERFUL smile and then ask if we were ever going to go to sleep. I am glad to say that I was a friend of Steve and will always smile when think of him!!!!!!!!!! Now and then we will hear a certain BASS note in the thunder and know it is Steve.
