Yes, it is true, our mom was on American Idol (She's Rachel, in our top friends). But there is something you may not know. So were we!

Much to our dismay, they didn't show any of our mom's auditions or her performances during Hollywood week. This is because she is not dramatic, whiny, immature or backstabbing. And because she wasn't one of the top 24. BUT, you know...oh well. What can us weiners do?

However, in our mom's first interviews, she told the cameras and producers of the show ALL ABOUT US! They took close up camera shots of our album, "Ain't No Collawearin' Dog", asked all kinds of questions about us, and let me tell you, they LOVED it! Mom gave out a few CD's, including one to Ryan Seacrest. Mom also did an impression of us for him, and he got a kick out of that.

Then she went in to see Paula, Simon and Randy, and what is the first thing that happens? Simon Cowell asks, "So Rachel, what in the world is a singing weiner?" Mom told him all about us, and he had to clarify what weiner dogs looked like. Then Paula said that she calls us "Cogs" because we are like a mix between cats and dogs. Huh? So, is every small dog a mix between a cat and a dog? We think not, but this is Paula we are talking about, and she is missing a few marbles.

Then fast forward to Hollywood week. On mom's first audition there, the judges had mom sing an impression of us. So yes, completely live and in front of all the camera crews, judges and other 200 contestants, our mom rapped "Scratch My Back" in Scooter's voice. The crowd cheered (some didnt get it) and Paula said, "Wow, you're crazy...". Mom said, "Yes, I am".

Now, WHY they didn't show that on TV, we will never understand. I mean, come on, the ratings would have shot up to....well, higher than number one. If that's possible....
