 It's always the first gig So, cautiously, deliberately, after falling down an awfully big snake, we roll the dice and make a move on the board. We have been quietly practicing, Micky and Nick and me, at the house, and on Tuesday we ventured out for yet another first gig. No fanfare, no guest list, no nothing really, like a practice, but somewhere else. A few people came, we drank toxic beer, we played. In a venue that used to be beautiful and is now a symbol of a lot of things we hate. But what the hey, it was just another start.
