People that know me are asking why I am calling myself the Dave Stanley Band.My real name is Dave Daoust and most people do not know how to pronounce "Daoust".Not a day goes by that I am not asked "How do you pronounce your last name?".It's just easier to go with another name.My Middle name Is Stanley,hence the name.
On another note our first gig is on Sept 23 07 at Bear creek park in Surrey.I am in the process of putting together a band and rehearsing.More details on the gig to come.All I know is it will be an afternoon show,free of charge.
