Now I have had a rant before about this, but it seems to me that either christians are either frauds or they are not actually bothering to carry out the only thing they were asked to do... to love. I am not just talking about personal experience, but it would seem that Christians only love those people that they want to. For some reason though, they feign the excuse that no-one told the, or they didn't know... problem really is they never actually thought about it in the first place. These people are so used to being spoon-fed that they don't seem to get past a principle.

I understand why people who don't believe in God don't sacrifice themselves for everyone, because why would you when you believe that there is no God (plus you don't get anything out of a lot of relationships). But for those who do believe in the only perfection of all that is good and right,  we actually have the means to love everyone on tap...our relationship with God. If God is who he claims to be, then you can Never burn out by loving a person, you can never give too much... why? because it all comes from God, not from you.

So, for all you christians who think life is about living well and treating others well, think again. Its not about that. Its about treating others as far superior to yourself and literally sacrificing of your own life for whoever it is. The example set for you is kind of obvious. So just go and do it.

I think I understand that this is a hard part of our calling, but it's something I've always done. I love all people, in such a way that I know in my heart and mind that I love people, even when I don't get along with them or like them. People are human and therefore worthy and needing of love, whether they ask for it or not. There was a time when I sort of unhealthily thought that all the bad things I was going through might as well have been happening to me, instead of others, 'better me than them', but I was able to balance that out to a certain degree.

When you come the world to God, it's hard to go back and love everyone when you spent so much time disliking or not caring. But it's still has to be done!
