I'm doing A Dare to Remember for the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
The idea is to do something to help turn the tide of AIDS in Africa by choosing a “dare,” setting a fund-raising goal and encouraging friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you.
You can perform or register your own dare during the Canada-wide “Dare Week”, which runs from October 17-25, 2009.
All proceeds will be used to support African community-based organizations that are pioneering creative approaches to change the course of the AIDS pandemic.
My dare is revisiting my youth by returning to my first job working at the toy section of The Bay!
I'll be at The Bay Queen Street in Toronto (5th Floor, Toy Section) on Monday, October 19th at 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Come check me out in uniform and I'll help you find your favourite toy!!
