As some people might be familiar with, Sydney Ward has had some previous troubles with mental disturbances and the law. Sunny canceled many of her solo performances in San Francisco, and 3 Anus Kings shows were unexpectedly canceled too. We thank those who were extremely kind and understanding in these stressful circumstances. (Esp. Andrew Newton, Alix, Suzy, and Owl***)

The Following was written by Sunny to me:

"please forgive me for missing the show, i went to jail again.  im out now, but im not sure how long it could take me to collect my thoughts.  please post a blog for me.  i just went through alot of fucked up shit.  im not sure whats gonna happen to me right now.  my state of mind has been abused.  tell you more about it when i feel better."

 I know that she is more than capable of recovering, as she has in the past, with proper time and adequate care for herself. With this in mind, and with the utmost respect for Sydney's Friendship, Music and Health that Anus Kings is no longer booking shows until we feel we are in the right place to continue performing live.

We will be back. This band has continued through tougher times, and shall again. We will return better people, and, as a result, better musicians. For now all I can ask is the continued understanding from our friends and fans. Keep Sunny in your hearts. Thank You.
