Tuesday's Message

When emotions get out of control how can you reign them in
and keep them from overwhelming you?

Our emotions are our guides.  When you are happy, you
probably don't even think anything about it. How many times
have you thought to yourself, Wow, I'm just happy today?  
Probably not very many, yet what if you had a cause of the
blahs?  How many times would you, out of habit, say, I'm
feeling down, or have a case of the blahs, or I'm feeling
depressed?

Many more times than not we are more prone to recognize a
negative emotion over a positive one.  It doesn't make any
sense I'm sure, but think for a moment, think about your own
responses throughout the day.  How many times did you say to
a co-worker, your best friend, lover/spouse....I'm just having
a bad day?

So what can you do to alleviate these unpleasant emotions?  
Stop fighting them!  That's right, when you fight them vs.
feeling them, you are in a constant state of struggle.  Well,
doesn't feeling them saying that you are Being them?  No, by
feeling them, you are not Suppressing them.  Suppressed
feelings lead to dis-ease, a disruption in one's energy system.  
Now hear what was said...I said to feel them, Not become
them.

By feeling them, you acknowledge them and by acknowledging
them you release them!  It's really that simply and by releasing
them, you're choosing to empower yourself to choose a higher
vibrational emotion.  For instance, if you are feeling blue,
feel blue.  Get into the emotion and truly feel it! Imagine you
are an actor and this is the role you have accepted, how does
that role play out?  Now move through it.  Embrace it for the
lesson it has brought you, then choose to feel "tired" maybe.  
Sometimes we feel blue because our bodies are requesting
some rest.

Now that you've napped maybe, meditated or simply just took
some time for yourself, you can continue to move up the
ladder of emotions to "rested", then on to "energized" moving
up to "excited", traveling still even higher to "peace", to "joy"
or reaching the top to "bliss" or "harmony."

Trace the emotions up the ladder, reaching for the next one
to be of a higher vibrational frequency. If you try to go from
the blahs to joy in one step, chances of you falling off the
ladder are pretty high as you may loose your footing.  If you
seek to reach for an unattainable goal you will become
frustrated and only perpetuate your emotions of blah and
probably adding a whole line-up of negative emotions.

So the next time your emotions begin to spin out of control or
feel as though they are getting the best of you, stop and catch
yourself, begin to ask your self questions, then find the right
higher emotions for you!  The more you do this for yourself,
the more you begin to increase your own vibrational
frequency and the more you increase your frequency the
more you shine your light for others to see!




Shine your light upon the world you see before you and watch
your world as it begins to illuminate!
