  It's Rock, It's Science - It's Rocket Science

June 16 - Something on Saturday - Festival Theatre Banquet Room

And we're off...we've just done 2 of the brand spanking new shows we've just finished writing. It's always scary doing new stuff, will people like it? are the experiments cool enough?

Well, we had a great time - with two full houses and the quickest selling show for Something on Saturday, and how cool the audiences were.

I'd been writing song after song and had been rather excited about playing them for the first time and the Geek had been pouring over the experiments from massive hot air balloons to very cool rockets to launch during the last song.

The show was all about flight and we had volunteers left right and centre wanting to come up on stage as soon as we played the riff for the volunteer song. As luck would have it, the first volunteer we had up was a dude that worked for British Aerospace - how cool is that!?

The Geek tried to explain Newton's theory using me as a scapegoat - bad move! I did the world's cutest experiment and there were all sorts of stories and rock songs. I tried to make Lord Geeky fall over by making him spin over and over again and I reckon my two favourite songs were probably, Such a drag & It's Rock, it's Science...but my favourites change hourly

So if you've only seen the first show, or want to see the new one again with your mates, get your socks along to our next shows in the July school holidays - 18-21 @ The Odean (Norwood). Book early because we will sell out - everybody loves rockets and flying

Turn it up to 11
