This one is titled "Strawberry Girl," and it was inspired by an article I read in The New Yorker a few weeks ago about the Strawberry Queen and her court at the annual Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida. Woo hoo! I love hearing about a song you're writing and then getting to hear it! And I read the article about a week after you mentioned it; I was planning to email to ask what it was that inspired you to write a song from it. (But now that I see where you went with the song -- it's wonderful -- I'm still curious what it was that made you think to write a song.)

So glad you're posting new songs so I can hear 'em from far away. And writing such lovely ones.
