This year's music will be on the city band shell on the north side of the park. This will eliminate the problems with dust storms, lack of shade, interference from giant puppets, extreme frisbee leagues and renegades on horseback.
The shell will be divided into two equal performance areas so that (like in recent years,) performers can play longer sets while the upcoming act sets up their gear, does a 3 minute line check, and keeps the music going.
