So by the end of May, Phony Bone aren’t going to be a band anymore.

As depressing a thought as this is to both the members and the nice people who have supported us, there is an upside. The upside is you can be part of history, as a marginally overlooked footnote in New Zealand indie music history play their last shows. Graham is going off to do things that are not bands, Tim is going to continue with Brad New Math and Frank + Jony are going to continue busting out the bad rhythms under a different name.

We love you and we’ll miss you all! I am sure we will still hang out and stuff right, even if we aren’t in a totally cool band anymore? Right?
