Okay, you Change-is-Bad MySpace hold-outs who are afraid to click on a link .... I'm not mad.  But come on ... at least say, "Hi," on the new blog rather than posting passive Craigslist poems in the Missed Connections  (yes, I saw it. Twice.).  I miss my old commenters, despite the many many new ones I've acquired in the move.

You are missed:)  And you've missed many an adventures!  Come see...

Brigid, I saw your note gently chastising some of your readers/followers for not commenting, and though I’m certain I am not among those you have missed, I still felt a twinge of guilt. And wouldn’t you know, after writing a lengthy comment on blogspot, I tried to preview it and *poof* it was gone. So I’ve re-written it as best I can, in another application to protect the draft. Incidentally, after at least a half-dozen attempts at leaving a comment at blogspot it appears that site doesn't like me, and I'm just going to leave my comment here. What I had wanted to say was: thank you as always for sharing, and especially your remembrance of Tim Krekel. I was not fortunate enough to know Tim, but even though I am not a musician I do love music, and I certainly knew of him. I doubt all of your friends think you are crazy, though I suspect some understand how “crazy” can be a very good thing. More than most anyone else I can think of, I believe that you actually know HOW to live. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen someone write that they wished they could have your life. I wonder why it is so hard for people to grasp that if they would simply free themselves to pursue their passions, they would find whatever joy and adventure they wanted in their own lives. This is what you demonstrate so well. You are amazingly generous with so many talents and wonderful qualities, that it is a great pleasure and privilege to know you and be inspired by you. People like you and Tim enhance our life experience - what a wonderful gift. Thanks again.

Sorry you're having blogspot troubles!

Thanks for this message.  I totally agree with you about people just grabbing hold and living.  I know I've been luckier than most, but I think most of that has to do with just taking chances.  They don't always work out, but they are always fun.

I've met Tim at least one or two times, and enjoyed his music.  I also enjoy his son's band, the Mad Tea Party.  Tim Krekel, Michael Jackson, Farah Fawcett, the Troubadours' dog Blossom, it's a lot to take in all at once...  I wish all of them blessings on their journey.

Ugh, how terribly sad about Blossom.  Yes, it's been a crappy week in the world of music. Still torn up about Tim, but the celebration/funeral yesterday was really amazing.

Brigid...I've clicked onto your blogspot.com site and once on it, it won't let me go anywhere else. I have to close out and start all over. Besides, not many seem to comment on this site. Most your fans seem to be over at facebook now. Your last week in review had responses to comments that I couldn't find. I thought maybe they were emailing you. I did find most of them on facebook after I tried there but I had to join to look for you. To bad you can't get them all hooked together. Your web page seems to be hooked to My Space but the others have to be clicked onto. Reverbnation shows you have more fans on My Space than any other site.

Sorry about your friend Tim. Sounds like he's the real deal and I'm sure it will be a great loss to the Louisville music community.

Love your blogs and still hanging in there reading them. I did look up your missed connection and have to say I agree with it...but I can handle change...

Thanks, Sally.  Sorry blogspot is being weird to you.

The Facebook comments have multiplied exponentially because of the automatic feed. I had the same feed linked to Facebook when I blogged on MySpace, but since MySpace refuses to export more than three lines of a blog, no one was able to read it.  Now that I'm exporting from Blogger.com, the folks on facebook are actually able to read the blog, hence all the extra comments ...

I messaged MySpace for a year about tweeking just a few things on their blogs, but they haven't done it.  Without export functions, the only possible way to read my blog was through MySpace ... I'd go back if they'd even supply an IMPORT-blog function, like Facebook and many other of my sites have.  But they just won't do it.  Very frustrating!

Thanks much for your comment ... glad to know you're still reading:)
