The heat has arrived and the ramblers are ready
to roll! Lost Bayou will be making stops across the South, starting
Friday, June 5 at the Opelousas Spice and Music Festival at 7pm, followed by the one and only Keith Frank.
On June 12, the Ramblers will hit the Continental Club in Houston,
followed by the Continental Club in Austin on June 13. We'll then
ramble over to New Orleans
to perform at the Louisiana Cajun Zydeco Festival on June 14, at 5pm.
Traveling up the mighty Mississippi on June 25, we'll take part in the
Sangamon Watershed Celebration in Decatur, IL.
As part of our Wetlands awareness campaign, LBR has procduced
multi-media presentation, featuring Dr. Whitney P. Broussard, linking
Cajun culture to the fastest dissapearing landmass in the world, the
Louisiana coastline. While in the area, we'll perform at Fitzgeralds
Night Club on Friday, June 26 with C.J. Chenier, son of the late King
of Zydeco, and finish the trip off at the Irish-American Heritage
Center on June 27.
