A few weeks have passed since the Austerity Program participated in this fragile thing called "democracy." For both members who may vote (note: Dr. Rhythm has been systematically denied the franchise), the 2008 election marked the first presidential election that we were eligible to vote in with neither a Clinton or Bush on the ticket. We have the sense that made this experience better than years' past.
Anyway, pre-election predictions varied in the band. While Thad expected an Obama win of about 533 electoral votes to 5 for McCain (with Utah going red), Justin maintained a concern that Karl Rove would somehow emerge with an "uncounted truckload of absentee ballots from overseas troops. You wouldn't want to disenfranchise the military, would you, you freaking commie?". At long last, the results were as they ought to be.
One unanswered question left over from the campaign, though. Either candidate should free to contact us with their response. And the question is: which Public Enemy record do you think is their best?
No one should be able to run for president without an opinion on this matter. For the record, the correct answer is It Takes a Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back.
