I believe grandparents, whether they are actually raising their grand kids or not, have a huge influence on these kids lives. Our grandchildren have a way of thanking us for just being there for them!
When I was a teenager, sitting on my parent's back porch steps, looking up at the sky, I dreamed of the day I would find a man I could respect and admire, who would want to find the same attributes in a young woman like me. Two years later, I met a young man who had dreams and aspirations, very much like mine.
We were married at age twenty, as we are only three months apart in our birthdays. Today, we are the proud parents of two grown children and grandparents of four grandchildren.
Jan and I have worked together on many successful projects, mainly in the music industry. The one we both believe is our most meaningful and fulfilling project is a DVD for children, ages 2 through 8 years, this is what we call a "labor of love."
