Wow! I'm still in recovery mode; I keep pinching myself to insure I'm not dreaming! I'm so honored to arrive back from Los Angeles with the award for "Female Singer/Songwriter of the Year" from the 18th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards! The festivities started off at the awesome Launch Party held on Tuesday November 18th in Hollywood at "Life's". It was great to see Executive Producers Al Bowman and Susanna Griffie and I'd have to say meeting Max Worthington, Cliff Morrison, and his bodyguard Biff, were definitely some highlights at this fun filled event! The Awards Show was held on Thursday November 20th at the Music Box Theater in Hollywood. The red carpet event was absolutely amazing! The show had so many great performances it's hard to choose my favorite highlights. Still, when Al Bowman awarded Dolores Fuller with her award for "Career Achievement for Hit Songs and Film Appearances," it deeply touched everyone in attendance! Although I should not have been surprised, it was amazing to witness how the film and music industry folks (along with my fellow musicians and I) gave thanks to Al Bowman for his many long years of hard work in the music community and his undying belief in top of the line music! I am so extremely honored to have received the award for "Female Singer/Songwriter of the Year" and to have been a part of the 18th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards, a magical evening I'll always treasure! ~ Dazz
