My name is Vegas. I am a rapper from Dallas,Tx. I chose the name Vegas because I knew that if I used the name Vega(my favorite character from Street Fighter) that Capcom would sue my ass! Anyway the music scene for upcoming artist down here is fucking dead. There are no open mics(well none that have people attending besides the staff and the rats and other pests that inhabit the building. The radio stations in Dallas should be ashamed of themselves. K104fm and 97.9 The Beat DO NOT play local artist music unless it is at 3:02am in the morning when nobody is listening. Me and my brother actually went to K104 on many occassions to try to get some spins. The DJ basically said that the so called street hip hop that they play is first listened to by a council of white execs who are most likely paid by the starving labels and then they make the final decison.
