1)  KMFDM w/ Rammstein in Dec 1997  (I think it was '97)

2)  Morrissey w/ Tiger Army in March '06

3)  Ministry and Revco May '06

4)  TKK Feb'06 (2nd time I saw them at the cains)

5)  Foo Fighters, Ween, and Jawbreaker April '96 or '97  (I can't remember the year, but it was my first concert of all time!)

This was hard!  I've seen so many great shows at the cains over the years that this hardly scraches the surface.  I've been to so many shows, i can't even remember them all right now.  All I know is that things just keep getting better and better!

1) Snow Patrol w/Embrace (Spring 05)- Snow Patrol was amazing. The guitarist for Embrace broke all of his
strings on the last song and just kept playing! Amazing
2) The Strokes w/Eagles of Death Metal (March 06)- Both amazing. The Strokes had a sweet light show!
3) Underoath w/Poison the Well and As Cities Burn (February 06)- As Cities Burn stole the show, and now
since they are breaking up, the memory is so much better. Underoath was brutal!
4) Hawthorne Heights w/Emery and Anberlin (February 06)- I didn't enjoy Hawthorne, but the pit was
incredible. Emery and Anberlin were beyond comprehension. I've never rocked so
hard as I did that night.
5) Death Cab For Cutie w/Cribs(April 1, 06)- Cribs were surprisingly good. Death Cab was good because I
love Ben Gibbard. They didn't put on that amazing of a show, but the music spoke
for itself.

I've only been to one concert at the Cain's and that was the recent Billy Currington show earlier this month.  But I've heard about the Cain's all my life.  My parents used to go there to see Conway Twitty and my Grandparents to see Bob Wills.  The Cain's is a legacy in our family.  We really enjoyed the Billy Currington show. I'm glad I finally got the opportunity to see a show there and look forward to seeing more there in the future.

There are SO many to list, but top five in my own order:

1. Blues Traveler - June '06 (great because it wasn't sold out; I talked to Chan and got his pick - that's his photo on my profile)

2. Death Cab for Cutie - April '06 (the Cribs were surprisingly good)

3. She Wants Revenge - April '06 (met the band, wasn't really into their music until I saw them live; Astra Heights was, and still is, an awesome band!)

4. The Fray - July '06 (Augustana is one of my favorite bands; The Fray put on a really good show, even if I didn't come to see them)

5. 30 Seconds to Mars - March '06 (met the band, great show, all around awesome)

Man, I'm feeling really old.  Larry Schaffer is a friend of mine, so..........over the years I have seen EVERYBODY.

Van Halen played the Cain's back in '78 for $500.00.  Funny, huh?  I was just a pup.

My mom used to go there when she was a young girl.

Nostalgic place.  If the walls could talk...

Ahhh...Cain's Ballroom! Such a special place! If you've never been there, then you need to GO!! Nothing like going to a show there and showin' respect to Bob Wills' photo and all the others on the walls...no matter who takes the stage that night. My top five would have to be:

1. Black Label Society/Black Stone Cherry - Nov.14, 2006 (it's tomorrow, but I know it's gonna be my new number 1)
2. Black Label Society/Meldrum - Apr. 2005 - I got Zakk's pick during the last song!
3. Tesla - Apr 2005 (I think) - Tesla is always awesome in Tulsa because they are real close to Jeff Keith's 'ol stomping grounds and they played rare album cuts that night.
4. David Allan Coe - March 29, 2003 (I think) Last time he's played Cain's to my memory, and he hit a guy that was heckling him with his microphone stand that night! Please bring back DAC sometime. He's a legend and always puts on an eclectic show.
5. Dwight Yoakum/Don White - Oct 2003 - The re-opening of Cain's after the remodel. Awesome job! Keepin the retro feel with a slight modern touch. Don White's "No Place Like The Cain's" set the tone, and Dwight was killer!
6. (Honorable Mention) Indigenous - Any Show At Cain's - I know I'm only allowed 5 choices but they have always given full effort every time I've seen them at Cain's. Special kudos to the Dec 30,2001 and Nov 2003 shows.

Hope to see y'all there in the future. Keep up the great work Cain's!!!

I have seen sooooooooo many shows at Cain's but many of them took place when I still went to high school so I'm having trouble recalling a lot of bands.  I remember going to Vanilla Ice but that is too hilarious to put on my list.

1. Tripping Daisy: Special because it was my very first concert.  I think I was 12 or 13. (1997?)

2. Jim Rose Circus: Not a concert per se, but a really stellar performance nonetheless. (Sometime between 1999-2001?)

3. Fuel: Reminds me of when every girl I was friends with in high school loved them.  Pretty music. (2000)

4. Kings of Leon: Wasn't a fan until I went to the show.  Really great music, but I was kind of "out of it", teehee. (October 2006)

5. Jurassic 5: The latest show I saw at Cain's.  Once again, converted fan because of the kick-ass show.  And once again a little too inebriated to remember it all. (November 19, 2006...still got the stub for that one)
