Yup, another CMJ Music Marathon has come and gone and the ol' Snake Trap was there to contribute our part. 

Our shows went well and we had a great response and pretty good attendance at both.  The first show was at this joint called Lit Lounge.  It is a small-ish bar with a bar/lounge on the ground floor and a music venue in the basement.  It was not unlike catacombs.  Brick walls with small arched nooks on the walls with booths for chillin'.  For a brick walled basement it actually sounded pretty good.  Our set went well for the most part.  All of the ACG bands ripped.  We had a great time. 

The next night we played this big venue, again in a basement, called the Crash Mansion.  This place was weird.  Above it and under the same ownership is a she-she nightclub called BLVD, complete with lines of jack asses waiting out front to get in.  The two clubs shared the same black-suit/black turtleneck meat-head "you talk'n da me?" security guys.  They were dicks.  The show went pretty well for us though.  We were lucky however, because we played first.  It was an afterparty to another show so we played at about 11:30.  By the time 3:15 rolled around though, and our homies Lick Lick played the place was pretty much only inhabited by ACG band members.  That's okay though, because we still had a great time.

I got the obligatory "travelling cold" and have been sick all week.  Sucks.  Right now I'm all hopped up on Dayquil and try'n to make it through the work day -

Well, that's the wrap up - It's halloween, Friday and all in all a pretty good day.
