Currently, BIY is pushing towards our first Metaphorically Yours [vol 2] deadline.  At this point, we've got six tracks that we're hoping to include on the disc.  Nate laid down all his parts a few weeks ago, and Gage and I are feverishly working out all the guitars, synths, and vocals.  We're using pretty much the same process and personnel that we used to record [vol 1], but what's really cool about doing a follow up EP is that we can solidify our process better, and avoid making some of the mistakes that we made with [vol 1].  It allows us some perspective, so that we can ultimately make better work.  

We're now hammering out all the little details, toying with vocal effects, arranging string parts, and trying to make everything feel right and fit together like the puzzle that it is.  It's shaping up to be really good, and is definitely the best music that I've ever been involved in making.

As deadlines are often evasive, we'll see if we can get it out by the end of July, which is what we're hoping.  At this point, we think that's a strong possibility.  We're looking forward to everyone hearing it....

We've got a couple of shows coming up at the end of May/beginning of June in Portland, so if you can make it out to those you should.  We've got some new material to show off, and some cool new surprises for the masses to hear.
