Well, half way through my 2007 Tour - titled On The Road Again - I now have the North Island of New Zealand to do.
The South Island went amazingly well with a number of people remembering me from my last tour - always good, and a whole number of new people - also always good. I had worried about how I would be on stage seeing as it was some time ago I toured, but not to worry, it all seemed to go swimmingly well with invites back.
I now have the North Island to do and we are coming into winter - possibly not the best time to be travelling the Desert Road - ho hum
Anyway, it is Monday here and I am on the road again on Thursday, over to Gisborne to play the Poverty Bay Blues Club - they all seem to be really excited about me coming over. I have some idea this is to do with my friend Dave Galanin, a good blues player, having said one or two good things about me. He has been really inerested in my music and very supportive - he is also opening for me when I am over there - so that will be really good.
Time marches on and I guess I need some beauty sleep and so will end this entry here - back tomorrow.
