TT Reynold's needs your help. On Aug 1st we were notified by or landlord that he is placing the property on the market and hopes to sell it within the next few months. This puts us into a very difficult position. With the transformation of downtown Fairfax into a huge town center the city really would like to boot out TT's and bring in high end retail shops to match the new development. As many of you know a similar situation happened 2 years ago to CBGB in New York. TT Reynolds ownership is looking for a way to ensure the local music scene does not loose another Iconic venue. For over 30 years TT's has supported local music and been the venue that gave every single band a chance to make it big.
This is where we need your help. We are working on trying to raise enough money to purchase the property to keep TT's in the hands of the people who will continue to support local music, TT Reynolds themselves. We have created an easy paypal link below for anyone who wants to chip in with $1, $5, $10, $20, or more we would greatly appriciate it. We are going to be creating T shirts, and doing a few crazy things to try to raise money in the next few weeks as well. A compilation album will be in the works, as well as some special shows where the door money wil be added to the pot. Please message us if you have any ideas, and thank you very much for your help.
