Growing up in Detroit can lead to any number of
influences from a musician's standpoint. The city that birthed Motown
and 20th Century Soul Music, and eventually what many know today as
Detroit House/Techno, fresh young artists seem to consistently come out
of the Motor City. Simple is no exception. After many years and many
styles of music later, you can find Konstantin in San Francisco making
dub/minimal. He helps run netlabel Two Circles with partner Cullen
Miller and have put out releases from Doubting Thomas (France),
Lackluster ( On April 10th, Simple will be playing a special live set
intended just for Atanta...being his first performance in the city. And
we could think of no better place than to have him perform at Top FLR
in the heart of Midtown. Join us as we take you on a journey from
minimal techno to dubstep from Simple, Justin Bright +
Inferno.
