I could.... feel the loose gravel begin to eat away at my tires. The reason for going so fast wasn't apparent to me anymore, as well I questioned myself silently, enough to smell my nervous breathe as why I started the journey down this dark road in the beginning.
The ride was a blur in my mind, as well for my brain which sent the foreign message to my eyes. The whole ride through these dark green and black woods left a smell of dead wood and tropical rain.
The next time I looked at the blurr of colors and road I saw a figure of something that shed quick movement, and invited a shiver to run down my spine like cold hands in the winter. When I came out of the vision I felt a sharp pain pierce my head as my right foot pushed the left pedal of my car so hard it felt like it went completely through the hood.
Looking up to the dark night through my broken windshield, my eyes were tickled by the stars. I tried to get out of my car by kicking the door, thrusting harder every kick, i eventually managed to break open the locked door. Now i knew my mind was gone. Fighting aches and pains, and the awkwardly cold temperature, I stood up using my shaky knees.
It only took one step backwards to send me on my back seperating my legs as my shoes found no grip. I was in the middle of some sort of body of water, on ice. Looking no further I saw the same image as I had earlier when my car was still worth 300 dollars. I was still trying to remember if it was winter when i had flipped my car or had it somehow changed?
I regained my composure and better, less pixelated eyesight only to see the white form of precipitation. My eyes blinked once and the white was now a dark red tundra as my vitale fluids melted their print in the snow. Saliva left my mouth as I began to pewk an empty stomach upon my already released blood.
Now at this point the things that were running through my head were all starting to make sense. I didn't know much at ll except that I probably had brain damage, and someone is out there to get me.
Either way night fell quickly and I needed to get warmth and shelter, and i'm sure if I knew what my stomach was saying right now, it would be threatening my life as well as everything else tonight. I gathered wood for a fire and began the attempt at a spark or two. I twisted wood together as seen on tv until my forearms burrowed it's own fire inside themselves as a failed first attempt rained supreme. I tried one more thing to start this fire, so I began hitting rocks together to start sparks, every time I hit harder and harder as big chips of rocks flew in every direction, the last heave to I had given was a near miss to way of my hand, the sharp rock split my knuckle as if it was butter and tore apart the veins which now dispersed blood in every direction. The pain was so great on a night of nearly negative 20 degrees, I didn't even know which finger I had hit while my whole arm felt the infection spread like wild fire.
Starting a fire was the least of my problems now as I surrendered into a state of blackness. The trees above me told my future which was pretty reassuring, seeing as this night couldn't get any worse. My boss woke me up and said "why do you have marinara sauce all over your face?" .
