Sorry to go a little serious here...not my usual style. But today, on the anniversary of 9/11, I just have to ask...have we forgotten?
I don't think we have, but I am amazed when I hear the stupid political standoffs and postering about the war, the troops and terrorism in general. I'm amazed at the shows and movies being made depicting the conspiracy theory that 9/11 was staged by our government. I'm amazed at bumper stickers that say they support our troops, but not the war. What?
The cool thing about America is that everyone is allowed an opinion, and allowed to voice that opinion. My problem is, I just don't get it. I don't get how they don't see what backing down and surrendering to terrorism would do. I just don't get it.
But I do remember this day 6 years ago. And I'm sure that most of you do to. Actually, it was a day just like today...
