04.12.2005 | drummer leaves CODEON
Two days ago Mats decided to leave Codeon for personal reasons. This left us in a very difficult situation with the Rautakanki gig, and we had to cancel since there was no way we could get a replacement in 24 hours. Sorry about that, we were looking forward to it too. Joni Varon from Scythia will be playing drums for us at Kouvola next week, so no more cancellations. Huge props to Joni for helping us out. The search for a new drummer will begin shortly.

Well, it appears our search is over before it even began. We've decided to continue with Joni Varon as a permanent member of Codeon, since things have been working out well with him. He's a talented drummer and fits the group well. Joni will be playing on our upcoming full-length album, which is to be released in spring 2007. Get ready to be blown off your feet ..
