I'm really glad you guys are back to recording again. I've been a fan since the HUANG CHUNG album!  I still play that LP.  I got the re-release of it from One Way records, but the quality of their re-release left a lot to be desired.  My LP gets played more than the CD.  I was hooked by that first album.  It deserves a re-master release.  Any chance of that happening?

hey guys..Its George Barry. Im a long-longtime fan. In fact my wife was in that conga-line ON STAGE in Austin back in...1999,I think. We are NY-ers, and back in NY.
To the point: the music scene is really empty without you! I think there is room NOW for what you do. There was some confusion...but it seems the time is very ripe for a band,like yours, thats crosses over.
I know you are involved in other projects...but the value of the name is still good, and people like me will go to great lengths to have new material (even pay for it!!)
Please aim for a 10 song set...but we'll gladly take an EP! Maybe get a single song into a film...(or a game) ...see if that re-awakes a larger interest.
I mean it. I play music too, (professionally) and the world is a more empty place without your perspective in it.
I bought Striclty,inc and everything else I can find...and while that had some great moments, the energy of Wang Chung is really at full,distilled potency when its you 2 together
Please consider getting some new material out,

Good to see its really YOUR site and not someone else's.


Its 2009 and I havent heard of any new material. Maybe I am not "in the loop", but I read elsewhere that there might be new material for release in 2008. So I am wondering if there is a hold-up.


No matter what..I will be waiting. I only hope its a cohesive set of new music..like 10 songs or so. I always felt you guys "understood" the longplaying format. In a World of short attention spans..the music on your CDs is improved by leaving it on..and letting the music tell you you a long story. I really mean it. So If it takes longer to make that music..know that I will be waiting. And JACK: I still proudly display the T-Shirt you signed for me back in 1999. Its in my small recording studio. I dont display much...but your shirt is there. Along with a John Lennon curio.


I hope you and Nick are well..and please let it flow and let it be Wang Chung. be yourselves..its always worked before.
