Happy September!
The summer has been great and all, but it's definitely
getting on time to cool down, and I know so, because it's almost my
birthday...
My birthday is always falls around Labor Day
weekend, which means it signals a last chance for summer fun. This
year, I've decided to lower the pressure by touring southward, ending
the month in the warmer states, thereby extending summer a little
longer.
I begin September with individual gigs in Boston, NYC,
and Philadelphia before embarking on a two week Midwest / South tour.
Highlights include my first visit to Pittsburgh and first-ever shows
ever in Ohio and Kentucky, an in-studio performance on North Carolina's
great WNCW, plus opening two shows opening for alt-roots artist Carrie
Rodriguez in Tennessee and Georgia.
All the dates on the myspace page. Show times, ticket prices, more details, etc are at
www.rebeccapronsky.com/live.htmlThe
rest of the fall includes more local and northeast shows in
Northampton, Boston, NY, Philadelphia and many more TBA, plus I'll be
working hard on a compilation CD for my music series the
Brooklyn Songwriters Exchange. We will be putting out a volume one compilation
of our favorite local Brooklyn artists and releasing it before holiday
time. More on that soon.
My EP was reprinted a few weeks ago and
looks fancier than before. It is still available at all shows or by
mail via
Nine Mile Records and also digitally via
iTunes and
eMusic.
Looking forward to an action-packed fall and hope to see you out on the road! September dates are listed on my page.
xo,
Rebecca
