As I'm sitting here in my hotel in Annapolis, MD right on the Chesapeake, I am still reeling from the show that Paul Reed Smith had in store for us last evening.  Thursday night was a special event for PRS Signature Club members and "special" is the understatement of the year.  We had no idea what was in store for us other than the great food, drink and everything PRS guitar.

My evening started with a chance meeting of someone special I first met last year at the Guitar Player Superstar event in San Francisco.  Michael Molenda, Editor in Cheif of Guitar Player Magazine was there and I was honored to enjoy his company for most of the evening.  Sorry Mike - I know you don't want this to be common knowledge, but Michael is seriously one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet.  It was great seeing him again!  Had an awesome time catching up on the last year of GP happenings.

The PRS campus is a beautiful place and the events planned were astounding.  A wave of shock literally crackled though the air as Paul announced the evening's special surprize guests, none other than Carlos Santana and Buddy Guy.  Not only did they offer spectacular performances individually, but when they paired up to perform everyone's jaws hit the floor.  It was one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen and one I'll never forget.

Today promises to be every bit as great with clinics from Johnny Hiland and David Grissom, and many more.  Tonight's musical treat - Zappa Plays Zappa.  I will have lots of pics to post soon.  Thus far, "Experience PRS" is one experience I will never forget!
