None of us are very happy about DTAG outsourcing our Help Desk, oh!  excuse me!  now that it's not within our company, it's not the Help Desk anymore.  It's the Service Desk, but service isn't exactly what you get when you are forced to call India.  This past week has gotten even worse.  They seem to have added rudeness to the already long list of aggravations to calling them.  Our department alone experienced 3 rude correspondences with someone from the Sevice Desk in one week.  I called them about 2 different issues, the first being Mobius & the other being Gauge. Of course, the first thing he did was to verify my name & phone number (even though he has that info right there in front of him)  He kept interrupting me during my explanation of the problem with Mobius.   When we finally got thru that & I tried to explain my problem with Gauge, he wanted to verify my name & phone number AGAIN!  I told him it was the same as it was 5 minutes ago.  That's when his attitude changed from rude to actually kinda, sorta trying to be helpful.
