In the news:
I put in my notice at my corporate job and am getting ready to start working part-time for a small business in Baltimore where I'll be working with and dying yarn. To supplement my diminished income, I'm also working on finding a barista or cafe job for the weekends.
Essentially, I'm abandoning a miserable desk prison for a life of arts and tea. The result? Lots more music, and hopefully, happiness. I've already booked five shows for November - an exciting way to start this new venture.
So please, come see me play, and bring your friends! The more people come out, the more likely these places will ask me to come back, which will only reinforce my decision of an impoverished lifestyle over an unhappy complacent one.
Here's to new beginnings, upheaval, and (hopefully) getting it right.
